01Scope of this policy
This policy covers restaurant bookings, events and functions, Coral Club memberships, tournament buy-ins, gift vouchers and merchandise. Nothing in it limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law — where ACL applies, it prevails.
02Dining deposits
Standard tables (up to 6 guests) require no deposit. Larger parties, window guarantees, degustation counters and peak dates may carry a card guarantee or deposit shown at booking. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours ahead; inside 24 hours or no-show, deposits up to $50 per guest may be retained.
03Events and functions
Event deposits are typically 25% on confirmation. Cancel 30+ days out for a full refund; 14–29 days, 50% refundable; inside 14 days the deposit is retained, though we'll always try to resell the date and refund what we recover. Rescheduling once is free with 14+ days' notice.
04Membership refunds
Coral Club membership ($95/year) can be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days of joining if no benefits have been used. After that, or after benefits are redeemed, membership is non-refundable but remains active to expiry.
05Tournament buy-ins
Tournament entries are refundable until registration closes (6pm Thursday). After the first hand is dealt, buy-ins are non-refundable. If a tournament is cancelled by us, all buy-ins are refunded in full automatically.
06Gift vouchers and merchandise
Gift vouchers are valid 36 months from purchase, non-refundable but transferable. Unused vouchers can be extended once on request before expiry. Retail merchandise may be returned unused within 30 days with proof of purchase.
07How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your booking reference, or call +61 7 4051 8822. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. If something went wrong on our side — a service failure, a cancelled event — tell us; we fix it first and refund where fair.
08Disputes and contact
If you're unhappy with a refund decision, reply to our email and a manager will review it within five business days. You may also contact the Queensland Office of Fair Trading or your card provider. Our aim is to be the venue you trust — disputes included.
